Results of Huskerland Duals IV
Lexington High School - Sunday, March 10th, 2002

The duals featured 10 teams in the 3-5 division and 16 teams in the 6-8 or middle school division.  In each case, teams were split into two classes: A and B. Classifications were based on the number Huskerland place finishers and how high each individual placed on any given roster. Classifications were not based on the size of school or size of club. In the 3-5 division, there were 5 teams in each division with pool play being the format. Three trophies were given in each division.  In the 6-8 division, each class (A & B) were divided into two pools. So there were 8 teams in A with a pool A-1 and a pool A-2. Same with B. Teams wrestled in their pool for a chance to advance. The top team in each pool wrestled each other for the championship, while the second team in each pool wrestled for 3rd (and so on).  All teams were guaranteed four duals in the tournament. In the 6-8 class A division, the Panhandle All-Star team elected to go class A even though they didn't have many Huskerland place finishers.  Tournament Director for the Huskerland Duals was Darrell Jennings.
