FORMAT
A team may enter an unlimited
number of wildcards. Roster limited to 18 wrestlers. Pool
Play will be once again used determine team strength. Each
team will be placed in a pool using a tier system. What tier
your team is will be determined by how many points your
wrestler's score at the 2008 Huskerland State Championships.
There will be a tier 1 team/tier 2 team/tier 3 team and tier
4 team in each pool. After pool play is completed the will
be the tournament portion of the duals with the top 4 teams
in "A" division the next 4 in the "B" division and so one
and so forth. Each team will have 3 pool play duals and 2
tournament duals. Awards will be give to 1st, 2nd and 3rd
place teams and wrestlers. Once again this year there will
be an Outstanding Wrestler Award in each Division. The Outstanding
Wrestler Award will be vote on by each teams Head Coach and
Huskerland Official. A Best Sportsmanship Award will also be
awarded by the Officials to one team in each division. No
Roster changes allowed after March 7, 2009. Rosters must be
submitted with full payment by March 7, 2009.
Insurance: This is
an AAU sponsored event.
You must be able to show AAU card or know your AAU card
number.

Wt. Classes 79-85-91-97-103-110-120-130-145-160-185
Weigh-ins 7 am to 8 am. One pound scale allowance. One
time weigh-in with singlet on.
90 sec. periods with choice for position. 12 point tech
falls and 7 point spread for major decisions.

60 sec. periods with neutral starts all periods. 10
point tech falls and 5 point spread for major dec. Using
Grade 3-4 Huskerland Modifications. |
Fees: 1 Team for $175 or 2
Teams for $300 (Save $50). Clubs must provide 2 table
workers for each dual they wrestle in.
Gate: Adults $5 with Students $3 and
Children 6 & Under are Free.
Awards:
Top 3 teams in each class given plaques and team members
provided Duals Championship medals.
